As a mercenary “tour guide,” Tomick scratches up a living leading would-be adventurers and thrill-seeking tourists into the once-wild forests around the riverside town of Ucclehem. While he is happy to have left the life of battle behind, he can’t seem to stay on the right side of peace, and as he uncovers a troubling mystery he must decide whether to pull the threads and risk unraveling the simple quietude of his hometown.

Ham aspires to what you’d suppose every old mountain dwarf should: a quiet life deep under the mountain. And although the small village of Fathafelør sits nestled between the grand mountain’s peaks, at times it can be so very far away from the world underneath. Tough seasons on the farm now push Ham even further away, to carve a living from the dangers and melodrama of the flatlands.

A mysterious vagrant is perhaps the only one who knows the fate of a vanished village high in the mountains from whence she fled. What part did she play in its disappearance, and why does she only speak in strange, stilted words?

Many a pub throughout Aruwír has been filled with the magical music that Faldinn has collected in his itinerant life. His music is known to excite, depress, woo and intrigue, and the only thing more storied is the past he’d hoped he’d shaken a hundred inns ago. But grief has a way of getting in your blood.

Perhaps the only thing more ambitious than the prophesies proclaiming Vithamír’s future prestige is his own sense of duty to his nation, the ancient elven homeland of Illuðadór. Now he leads a hand-chosen strike team into the lost nation of fallen giants in order to stop their recent border incursions, and hopefully learn why the horrible titans seem to have gotten stronger and more successful of late.
